New Strength For Those Who Trust In The Lord; Hallelujah!
The storm came crashing on us; sudden; torrential; heavy and devastating. Oh what devastation; as it took with it our wonderful, still – blossoming fruits – our brave and selfless children/youth. Yes, gone with the winds, so we cried; and we were left sorrowing and mourning. But no more of that! Yes, no more, because after the storm comes the calm that reveals newness, as things have been cleaned by the storm. The ground has been watered; and the fields, plants and trees are now ready to yield their abundance. It Is A Time Of Enlargement.
Yes, as a country, and individual families in the country, we have experienced a heavy, torrential and devastating storm! But in the midst of it, we trusted and we still trust in our Almighty and Loving God. But wait a minute, you may be saying; this is bible and about Christianity and their brain-washing. I’m not a Christian and I don’t read or believe in the Bible, so let me toss this aside. I suggest that you should not be in a hurry to follow through with that decision. So before you take that decision, which you are free to do, recall that it is not all of you in this struggle that are of the Christian persuasion, and the struggle was not based on any religious persuasion. This was partly the reason that you have displayed great cohesion and unity of purpose. Therefore don’t be put off, because my premise is the Bible. It is important to note also that it is not all the people of the Christian persuasion that see things in the same way. Difference is healthy, provided it can be well harmonised based on a common goal and purpose. Furthermore, whatever our persuasion, there are some fundamental things on which we all can and do agree. We all seek justice; peace; good governance; freedom of speech; right to life and for that life to be lived in a peaceful, respectful, and dignified way; and in an environment conducive to healthy growth and development of the total person; among others. Our interpretation of these issues may differ, but these are issues that know no religion; tribe; language; gender or colour. It is for these reasons that I believe that you have remained cohesive and defiant despite the brutality of our fake leaders.
Yeah; that much for some clarifications, which I hope make some sense even though you are still entitled to hold your reservations. So, we have experienced a menacing storm and Now is the time for the manifestation of renewed strength; of new visions; of great attainments; and of greater heights of soaring – spiritually, physically, psychologically, materially and may I add politically; and oh, enlargements in all the other areas that the Omniscience and Omnipotent God, who allowed the storm, know that we need, and because of which He allowed the storm.
So my compatriot and patriotic young ones, and Nigerians generally, get ready; because the desolate woman, who was called barren, now has more children than the ones with husbands. People, extend; widen; make larger your capacity for your enlargement. God is moving; God is about to do the unexpected; the unimaginable; because a crown of beauty is being given for our ashes; a joyous blessing instead of mourning, and festive praise instead of despair. We are becoming like great oak trees planted by the Lord Himself for His glory. We must receive the benefits of the aftermath of the storm. Extend your coast, your capacity; do not be satisfied with lesser things. Be like the widow in the Bible; gather, collect, and acquire containers, because the abundance of the Lord is coming to you. Yes, the Lord allowed the storm; He put us under heavy burden, but they were to purify us like silver, so that people will exclaim: what awesome miracles He performs for (His) people; this blessed and highly resourced country Nigeria!
So open your lives by faith to the newness and enlargement that comes after the storm. It is here; can you feel it? No, not feel, discern it; ask the Holy Spirit your Helper to help you. Our God does not afflict mindlessly. He has good, precious plans, and purposes, which cannot be thwarted by anyone or anything. Remember, what He does is abundantly, extremely, unimaginably, beyond anything we can hope or dream about. Do not let yourself; fear; neither let the pain of the devastation be the hindrance to this move of the Lord in your life and in our country. But let us be open, exercising our faith in the Lord; and actually, the faith of Lord Jesus Christ. Open up those specific and particular areas of your life; of this country that need change and enlargement, and remind your Covenant and Promise Keeping God. He cannot lie and neither does He deny Himself; and ask Him to do His part because the storm is over. And He will, because He said that those who Trust in Him will Find New Strength; They Will Soar; They Will Not Grow Weary; And They Will Not Faint.
Yes, the season has come; our tyrannical and despotic leaders cannot stop this move of God. They have become useless, insignificant and not needed. It does not matter what the Buharis’; the Tinubus’; the Fasholas’; the Sanwo –Olus’; (to mention but a few), and their cronies try to do. Yes, it does not matter. The newness has come, because that is the natural course of life – after the storm comes the calm with its newness; freshness, and abundance. The current behaviours of our self-imposed leaders are like the last dying moments of a dying animal. Their tyrannical tactics does not and cannot deter this move of God. Don’t you remember the havoc of the Abacha era intended to frighten the populace? Remember; it was as if special Bomb squads were set everywhere, especially in Lagos; setting off the series of bomb blasts with which people were terrorised and traumatised, and yet blamed on NADECO, the opposition coalition? Where is he today? In the dung hill of the political history of this country. So will it be for the corrupt leaders of this country, who in addition to the years of stealing, oppression, corruption, and exploitation, have added to their crimes the killing of our budding children! Oh they are already dying! Their blood is part of what will cleanse this land; the land upon which they have shed the innocent blood of our children and many others. For just as they have shed innocent blood, so will their blood be shed without mercy by the almighty God; for whom it is a righteous thing for Him to punish wickedness though He seemingly delays.
The almighty God who hates injustice, and who will not let the wicked go unpunished, is on the side of our children and the country. He is the Mighty Man of War, and His counsel cannot be thwarted. NO ONE, YES NO ONE; NO INSTITUTION; NO ASO ROCK; NO FORT BY WHATEVER NAME IT IS CALLED CAN STOP GOD. The wicked leaders of this country cannot escape the judgment of God. They ignored God and abused the privilege of leadership they had; and now is the time of reckoning. They cannot escape God; even if they run to the Moon or Mass; not to talk of a place like France – our backyard. These wicked and heartless, self-imposed leaders murdered peace, and so peace will be far from them and their collaborators; and they will be paid in the same currency. Yes, your end is coming; you cannot escape, you wicked and corrupt leaders of Nigeria.
But for Nigeria and her people, especially our young ones, it is Welcome to Your Season of Newness; Enlargement; and Extra-Ordinary Blessings. It is your time of renewed and increased strength; of elevation and success. This is because you trusted and still trust in the Faithful, Almighty Covenant Keeping; Possibility- Making; Caring and Loving Father and Almighty God.
