Dickson Atsenuwa is deeply passionate about adding value to the lives of individuals and groups. He identified this passion early and took to academic pursuits that would equip him to achieve his mission of building the capacity of individuals and organisations to realise self-actualisation. Dickson’s passion for helping individuals derive from his personal experiences through life to date. He birthed his people-service skills in the Church, which also provided him with opportunities to develop his calling and service skills in the teaching and exposition of the word of God; and as a counsellor, coach and mentor. He also honed his management and leadership skills through the learning opportunities provided by the diverse work and leadership positions he held during and after his undergraduate and postgraduate studies.   

Building on a first degree - BA in Geography from the University of Lagos, he obtained an MBA degree from the Enugu State University of Science and Technology focusing on Management in order to equip him with knowledge and skills to support organisations to institutionalise systems and structures that help employees to realise their individual potentials and contribute optimally to the organisational goals. Dickson also holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the Wilfrid Laurier University, Ontario, Canada and is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with the Ontario College of Social Work and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). 

He has over 15 years’ experience of providing a broad spectrum of professional social work services including social intervention programme design, clinical counselling as well as child protection services and has, at various times, worked for Family and Child Services Agencies in Ontario, Canada and the John Howard Society, Waterloo Ontario, Canada. With a special interest in Family Counselling, he has worked extensively as a therapist with perpetrators and victims of partner assault under court-mandated programmes. In addition, he has worked as a Marketing Manager, Production Manager and Project Manager. He launched and implemented the Waterloo Region Social Purchasing Portal (WRSPP), Ontario Canada. He was also the Head of Administration of the Bowen University Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso and a Principal Assistant Registrar in Bowen University Iwo, Nigeria. He is highly rated for his outstanding and effective capacity to meet overall client and agency goals.

Dickson possesses additional skills and competencies as a trainer, coach and resource developer.

Dickson and his wife Ayodele are blessed with two children to the glory of God.
