“What other nation is so great as to have their gods near them
the way the Lord our God is near us whenever we pray to him?.” (Deuteronomy 4:7NIV).
What a question; what a challenge? But perhaps the more serious question is: Do you know and have this God? Well before you answer, let me explain that the God being spoken about here is NOT the God of everyone! Does that surprise you? It should not. Yes, He is the God who made everything and created human beings; but He only has relationship with those who have to come His saving knowledge through the finished and unfathomable work of His only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore, my friend, brother, and my sister, as you take on another week under the grace of this Special God, He will be near you; do exceedingly marvellous things; make you distinct; and hear and answer your prayers, if you have a personal relationship. The choice is yours!
